Care par excellence
It is our belief that when one starts to look for care at home for a loved one or for themselves they need the confidence of straight talking and a system which makes drawing up a package of care as simple and straightforward as possible.
We pride ourselves on quality and encourage independence whilst maintaining dignity and respect. We only deliver to the level of care that we would expect for our own relatives, loved ones and vulnerable friends. We will always be there to advise you on the best way to fulfill your care needs and understand that everyone is different and therefore will want different things within their care arrangements. We will visit you to discuss your needs, listening to what you want and will draw up your care plan according to your needs and wishes.

What Our Customers Are Saying
Don’t just take it from us, let our customers do the talking!
The Care Team
Tender-Care boasts a professional, experienced and highly motivated friendly care team with a positive and ‘can do’ attitude who are all POVA (Protection of Vulnerable Adults) and DBS checked (disbarring service formerly known as CRB). Training is high on our agenda and is monitored, maintained and supervised. We have a rigid employment selection process and staff members must be of the right temperament and attitude in the first instance. We carry out regular spot checks, supervision and monitoring of the care team at a maximum of 3 monthly intervals and we ensure our care is maintained at the highest possible level.
DIRECTOR & REGISTERED MANAGER
I was born in Devon, and grew up in Africa, returning to England in 2006. I settled in Bournemouth and continued my caring career by joining Tender Care. Angela Fraser the Director of Tender care offered me the position as her assistant in 2009. Angela chose to follow a new and exciting path in December 2013 and I then became the sole Director and Registered Manager of Tender Care.
I have travelled the world and have visited all the continents and 49 countries, I love to travel, experience different cultures and the beauty of nature. My family are important to me, I have an extended family who live in different parts of the world, however I am fortunate enough to have my son, daughter and their beautiful grandchildren live locally.
The work that we do can make such a difference to people’s lives, I am very proud of the Care we offer, and of the entire care team and the excellent reputation that Tender Care enjoys is down to each and every one of them – carers are exceptional people who have great qualities.
I am 30 years old, born and raised in Zimbabwe. I arrived in England with my Mum in 2006, worked in Jersey for a while and came to Bournemouth in the April. I have a 3 year old son who also demands a lot of attention!
I joined Tender Care in April 2006 as a Care Assistant and worked my way up to my current position. I became the Care Co-ordinator in 2008 working alongside Angela Fraser and I have held this position ever since.
I am currently studying to become the company’s trainer.
Co-ordinating is very challenging and at times stressful however the sense of satisfaction once it’s all in place far outweighs the challenges.
I particularly enjoy carrying out assessments and reviews and inputting all the information on the system.
ASST MNGR - TEAM LEADER & MENTOR
My parents come from Birmingham and moved to Bournemouth when I was 2 years old and I have lived here ever since. I have 2 grown up daughters, 1 grandchild and a dog. Whilst my children were growing up I worked in a well known supermarket.
Several years ago my manager was looking for someone to help in looking after his mother which involved cooking, cleaning, shopping and companionship. After giving it some thought I thought I might like to do this and that’s how my career in care work began. My children had left home and I thought it was my turn to do a job that I loved. I looked at a number of Care Agencies and found Tender Care!
I have been with Tender Care now for 7 years. I started with Tender Care as a Care Assistant and Abby encouraged and supported me in achieving NVQ in levels 2 and 3. I was promoted to a Duty Officer in 2010. I progressed up the ladder to Senior Officer and the rest is history!
I get great support and my confidence has grown and continues to grow. I work with a great team. I love the job and making the difference to the people we look after is important to me – we make the difference to their day.
